About
Ravenscoon is a DJ and electronic music producer from Atlanta, Georgia. Now based in San Francisco, California, the artist otherwise known as Paul Conversano combines his signature experimental bass music with everything from hip-hop to punk and death metal. He started releasing original music in the late 2010s with singles like “Accelerated Mortality,” “Déjà Rêvé” and “Neuromancer.” In December 2023, Ravenscoon dropped his debut studio set PERIPHERY, a concept album with guest appearances by Killa P, Al Kapone, Can’t Stop Won’t Stop, Noise Pollution and more.

I am so glad I flew to the Midwest, even with the cold weather. It was clear that this event was created for the fans. From the affordable ticket prices to the amenities, this was perfectly curated. I was surprised by the level of production and efficiency for an event that is in its first year. The vibe was immaculate and I felt really special attending. Being able to finally afford a VIP ticket was something I really cherished. Some attendees seemed a bit frustrated with the slight obstruction of the stage. While it would’ve been better to see the stage as a whole, having the ability to sit down on and off throughout the show was worth every penny. Also having separate bathrooms and an area to sit down in a separate lounge was fantastic. I would pay this again and again at every possible venue for Ravenscoon if I could.

Bathroom situation was very chaotic; with the venue trying to only utilize one bathroom spot instead of keeping both upstairs and downstairs open. Sound system was amazing but there is a thing as too much bass; as most the time you couldn’t hear any melody, it was solely just the rattle of the bass. Security is super nice but super tense as they felt like they were always around you; makes for a safe event but i feel it didn’t let people truely let loose.
