Always an energizing performance from this amazing band. The 3 horns somehow sound like a horn section twice their size, the guitarist was shedding all night, and the rhythm section is off the chain. Go see them the next chance you get.

Having never heard of them before my friend intro'd me to this, I went to the NYC concert and it was absolutely AMAZING!!! Great songs, performances, supporting acts, and vibe. The beats of the dhol and the brass supporting it kept our feet bouncing and jumping throughout!!
What a fantastic, upbeat, and eclectic band! The band keeps a bhangra beat and layers it with a latino, jazz, hiphop flare. Each of the members are wonderful performers with tireless energy and enthusiasm. If you're looking to dance, you found the right group.
I have seen them before where they were the Headliner and they played with an "All In" attitude which was truly SPECTACULAR. This show, because they were trying to do two shown in one night, the first one was short and you could tell they were somewhat conserving their energy. I wonder if, in the second show, they appeared a little "spent" and I wonder if they played longer.
My friend and I went on a whim, never even having heard of the band. They were incredibly energetic and it felt like one big dance party. It was so cool getting to see all the horns being played. Also the Tuba player raps, ha! Would definitely go again
The venue was great! Enough space for dancing and offered a nice seated/standing option above. Drinks were good and Red Baraat was amazing!!!!
This is the second time I have seen them. Most groups play a fast then a slow song- these guys just play wide open all of the time! I am 65 years old, and I danced for half of the concert. The only problem is the theatre did a very poor job of promoting and advertising. No one know about it until a few weeks before the event.
I'm not sure why Red Baraat got my eye in the Ticketmaster email. But the tickets were cheap and I wanted to check it out. Oh my god. It was so amazing. They were so high-energy and entertaining. I danced the entire show! I loved it. I bought both of their CDs.
