  • Richard Dawkins/Max Tegmark

by Chris on 10/16/19Somerville Theatre - SomervilleRating: 5 out of 5

I really enjoyed the location and the discussion. The Somerville Theater is an old building with old decorative art throughout its interior. From the painting on the ceiling to the elaborate architecture and trimming, I really got the sense of walking into a space that was, in a way, frozen in time. The conversation between the two keynote speakers was refreshing. I would absolutely love to see Richard Dawkins and Max Tegmark again.

  • Prefer long form talk over random conversation

The format was a bit of an unscripted book review but I have enjoyed many of Dawkins long form lectures much more, because it lets you see more of his wonderful brain. I realize he had laryngitis though the format probably was predetermined.
