  • Great facility!

by Amy C on 4/21/25Blue Cross Arena - RochesterRating: 5 out of 5

Clean, kind staff, good food. The only suggestion I have is that there needs to be a selection of non-alcoholic drinks at the beer areas/bar areas. I love watching hockey with a Genny N/A... I don't want soda!

  • Fun time

Took my kids and grandchildren to the game. It was the first professional game for my daughter in law and granddaughter and they had a great time. Only complaint is that a few of our seats were obstructed view by the camera man so 2 of the 3 periods we couldn’t see goals scored by Amerks other than on replay. Would have been good to know that as most venues will tell you if the view is obstructed so you can decide whether you want those seats.

  • well organized and very entertaining

Brought family and friends to the arena for Ryan Miller HOF induction, great ceremony, speech and entertaining game that followed. Only suggestion I would make, looking at the hundreds of people in line for a meet and greet with Ryan is that there should have been a banding instituted so those toward the end may not have waited and then been denied unfortunately due to time constraints. Otherwise, the Amerks staffers were doing a tremendous job of moving people along who were able to meet the American born GOAT Hockey goalie!

  • Very effecient concessions

by just a fan on 2/25/25Blue Cross Arena - RochesterRating: 4 out of 5

I was very impressed with how quick it was to get my water and pretzels. Usually I have to hold my trash until the end of the game or next intermission but I got my food so quickly that I ate my pretzel and threw out the trash before the intermission was done. I only have 2 complaints. 1: the nacho cheese was not very melted 2: the bathrooms are not marked very well.

  • Good experience overall

Friday night I took my 9-year old son to his first ever hockey game. The game itself was very exciting and the Amerks won 4-1. We got seats right behind the announcers and the penalty boxes which helped him really connect with the game. There were only 2 downsides to the entire evening. First, my son was heart broken when 2 kids sitting a few seats down from us got hockey pucks from the lady working in the penalty box and he was not chosen for one. She would have no way of knowing this was his first game or that it would have upset him, so I don’t blame the team by any means, but it’s part of what we experienced. Second, I would recommend some kind of heads up about the parking situation at the civic center parking garage when you buy tickets. We planned to get to the rink 45min early to look around and parking was so bad that we missed the puck drop. Again, not the team’s fault, but I would appreciate parking options being listed with the tickets. We still had a good time and really enjoyed the game. We will be back for sure.

  • Eh….

by Dan on 1/20/25Blue Cross Arena - RochesterRating: 2 out of 5

Game was pretty slow but it didn’t help that the speakers in the venue didn’t seem to either work right or provide enough sound to be heard in the corner where we were sitting. At first we thought there wasn’t even an announcer until we heard some muffled voices finally coming through the speakers. It wasn’t a crowd noise issue, it was their system.
