  • First class entertainment

by Edwardo on 12/17/23Bijou Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Opening act of Trey Hensley and Rob Ikes set the proper tone for the night. First class musicians. Rodney's voice was strong and clear. Great mix of new songs and old. Was a pleasant surprise to see Trey and Rob join Rodney on stage for several rocking revisions. The acoustic set was perfect for the small Bijou setting.

  • Great show at the Bijou

by JLail on 12/17/23Bijou Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Great Rodney Crowell show at the Bijou Theatre. This show was rescheduled from October due to a COVID case in the band/crew and was worth the wait. An amazing songwriter surrounded by amazing musicians. Great mix of new materials form the Chicago Sessions album and his fan favs.

  • Great night of music at a great venue

    by JM on 11/13/23Rialto Theatre-Tucson - TucsonRating: 5 out of 5

The venue is outstanding and staff were very helpful and friendly. Comfortable seating, with good views no matter where you sit. The sound was fantastic, an amazing acoustic set by a much under appreciated artist. Did not expect it to go for almost 3 hours, but could have went for another 3 without us complaining! Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

The concert was amazing. He played for nearly 3 hours, never taking a break. The venue is awesome for acoustics. The seating was a little uncomfortable. Overall a fantastic night!

  • An amazing show

    by Jeff on 11/13/23Rialto Theatre-Tucson - TucsonRating: 5 out of 5

Rodney Crowell put on an amazing show in Tucson. Playing for over two hours with a fiddle player and another guitar player next to him. He played a combination of his old standards and new songs from his Chicago sessions album. The musicianship, vocals and storytelling were fantastic. Would definitely go to see him again.

  • Superb performance by superb ensemble

    by Tom on 11/13/23Rialto Theatre-Tucson - TucsonRating: 5 out of 5

Rodney Crowell shared a lot of great songs during his two hour plus performance in Tucson and he did some excellent finger picking throughout the whole show as well. His two side men, Eamon McLoughlin i’m violin, fiddle, and mandolin, and jedd Hughes on guitar are both incredible virtuosos and did a wonderful fob of accompanying him.
