First time I have gone to see Saving Abel live. Only thing I can figure is that they must have some sort of sound engineer wizard at work when they record in the studio. Live, they are a disappointment.
Any Saving Abel fan that missed this really missed something special. I don't know why there was no one there, but the entire amphitheater peaked at about 60 people and 20 of those were gone before Saving Abel came to the stage. So, everyone in the venue had front row seats and the opportunity to be up close and personal with the band. Anyone that wanted autographs got them. The band gave us a great show even though we could have put the whole event in my back yard.
When a band loses a member (or more) of the originals, no band can be EXACTLY the same as the original band when they start anew with new additions. Common sense. Besides the fact that Scotty Austin did a fantastic job with the material, he is a VERY talented singer, guitartist and an excellent showman. High energy all the way - as well as the band as a whole. The best props go to the hospitality of the band - again, as a whole. When there was a mix up with our VIP tickets and I contacted the promoter via email, it was within minutes that Scott Bartlett contacted me himself, arranged a meet and greet at their hotel prior to the show. The whole band showed up, ALL were very apologetic for the mix up. At the show, prior, during and afterward, the band mingled on the floor with the patrons, down-to-earth, completely humbled with thanks to ALL of their fans. They are dedicated to our troops and supportive to them and their fans above and beyond. Also, addition Steven Pulley on drums, awesome! Excellent, kudos to the whole band. When they come up with their first "new" album, no doubt in my mind it will trump the old and wave in a new - rockin'!!! - Saving Abel. Thanks guys... YOU ALL ROCK!!!
Not until after arriving at the show did I discover that lead singer Jared Weeks was replaced two weeks ago by Scott Austin from Trash the Brand. Oh and the drummer's gone too. So I did not see Saving Abel. Wild Bill's is a great venue and I look forward to going back.
Saving Abel is not worth seeing since Jared Weeks left. With Scott Austin at lead vocals, many of their awesome songs were unrecognizable. This concert was a waste of money.
3 years hollow was the highlight to this night. First time seeing them and was really impressed. Saving Abel really took a hit when they lost their lead singer and went with a Scott Weiland wanna be. They can still play the hell out of a guitar! BD was not good.
I have to say I was VERY disappointed in the show! The sound quality was not very good (I've been to shows at Wild Bills before, and had no issues), and frankly, I don't know what has happened to Saving Abel, but the new singer was a bit obnoxious, and apparently pretty high while on stage. He kept saying "We're a party band"....No, you're not! This is an entertainment venue, not a party! Overall, I would definitely go to another show at Wild Bills, but definitely not to see Saving Abel!
It was amazing ! Saving Abel is my favorite band, but now Art of Dying has moved way up that list - those guys blew me away!!!!
absolutely amazing show. LOVE the close small venue made the event much more personable. more bands should do more shows like this!!!!
Great concert. Saving Abel and Bridge to Grace were both AWESOME. Wild Bills was a great venue and decent priced beer.
I have been a fan for awhile but never been to a show. I loved it!! The atmosphere was relaxed and the band gave a great performance. I enjoyed their whole set and will be catching future shows.
This was the first time I've seen Saving Abel and I have to say what a great time I had. The lead singer is so energetic and really engages the audience throughout the whole show. He's got the greatest personality too!! GREAT SHOW!!
awesome band even better live! I love these guys and deff would recommend them!
Small venue but very personal - can't imagine I will see a better show from them ... it was amazing!
Saving Abel is a great band to see live! They sound the same in person as they do on CD and they engage the crowd throughout. Perfect mix of new material with the old & a couple classic covers added in. The Vinyl is fun room to see a show...Nice addition to the Hard Rock! With a maximum occupancy of 850, you're closer than ever to the action. Nice bar sevice as well.
I was in 7th heaven. This was the 2nd time I got to see this band. First time, they were an opening act. This time was a complete show. Wow, I was blown away. They know how to entertain and real easy on the eyes. Genuine. I will see them again and again. Thank you.
There are no words to use to describe this event, it just rocked my world.
What a fantastic line up. Fall from grace - had never heard of them. - made a fan! Redlight King - Have CD..were even better live - check em out soon! Aranda.......where to begin.....have been a fan for a few years. When I heard they were on the line up it was icing on an already huge cake. The energy they brought was amazing. They were professional, friendly and wickedly talented. Check them out if you can, Saving Abel.- had the chance to see them a couple of years ago at a large venue, this was a treat. small venue, so up close and personal. They are as talented as the 1st day I heard them. Their new music sounds even better!
All the bands were great. They each played for less than an hour, but they gave it there best. Great sound system. I would recommend this tour to everyone to see.
