The Isley Brothers on Tour
The Isley Brothers are as much a force of nature as a group ďż˝ you gotta experience them in person to get the full sensory effect. Though some of the original Isleys are no longer with us, Ronald and Ernie Isley continue to front the band in grand style; Ronald's vocal power and Ernie's guitar fireworks are both as strong and soulful as ever. Within seconds of the Isleys taking the stage, it's obvious Ronald was born to be a frontman ďż˝ from his commanding stage presence to his sartorial style and of course his undeniable vocal prowess, he remains a riveting performer. And when Ernie leans into one of his signature licks, like the liquid wah-wah guitar lines of "That Lady," the electricity is coming from more than just his amplifier. Add a killer backup band, dynamic dancers and a thrilling stage show, and you've got not just a show, but a full-blown event.
The Isley Brothers in Concert
Believe it or not, the original incarnation of The Isley Brothers first began performing back in 1954. In the decades that followed, the group evolved through a multitude of stylistic shifts, going from gospel music to R&B to funk and beyond. Along the way they've contributed tons of tunes to the pop pantheon, including "Shout," "That Lady," "Twist and Shout," "It's Your Thing" and "Fight the Power," to name just a few. In era after era, the Isleys have managed to successfully reinvent themselves, even as some of the original members were lost. Now the luminous voice of Ronald Isley and the funky guitar of his younger brother Ernie continue to bring the legacy of the American institution that is The Isley Brothers not only into the present, but into the future as well.
Must see concert legendary experience for the books!
Loved the whole entire show They were awesome the sound was great the seat were nice I really feel the whole audience đ enjoy the show.
We really enjoyed this concert. Ronald Isley still sounds amazing at 82 years young. All his musicians are amazing. Dancers also great and backup singers being his wife and sister in law have beautiful voices. The pearl theater at the palms very nice too. Not much leg room and Iâm small but itâs a beautiful theater.
Iâm a young old head. Growing up listening to the Isley Brothers while growing up and being able seen them in person was breathtaking. They had the audience engaged the whole time.
The Isleyâs Brothers did their thang!!!! I loved the show. I enjoyed it all!
The performance was spectacular. The music selection was the best of the best and the venue did not disappoint. The crowd was mature and the service at the bars along with the friendliness from the ushers were a 10! We look forward to visiting this theater again. Ron Isley sounded amazing!
Concert started about 35 minutes late, Ron lip synced but Ernie PLAYED that guitar & I enjoyed the show overall. I had great seats on the floor.
The concert was amazing.. Ronald and Ernie Isley still have it. They sound just like their records. Backup singers / Dancer super good. Iâm so glad I attend the concert,
The concert in and of itself was gr8. However between photographers and stragglers I was very dismayed. The ushers should have waited for songs to finish before bringing guests to the front of house to be seated. Those that got wrist bands should have gotten those before entering the venue. The show the band, the dancers, background vocalist, and of course Mr. Big (Ronnie) and Ernie all exceptional. Hope they come back real soon.
Ronald Isley, the Isley Brothers, and JS put on a fantastic Legendary Show, they played all my favorites and Mr Biggs sound amazing he still got it. A great show I loved it.
