  • Great concert, poor audio

by Brig on 5/22/24Lexington Opera House - LexingtonRating: 5 out of 5

The Singers were amazing! Great singing, great energy! Loved the song choices, loved the solos. Whoever was in charge of the audio was absolutely terrible. Tons of distracting feedback throughout the performance, very unprofessional. I expected better.

  • Lexington Singers Hit a Home Run

by Opie 82 on 5/22/24Lexington Opera House - LexingtonRating: 5 out of 5

The Lexington Singers, an incredible choral group, hosted their annual Pops Concert at the Lexington Opera House on May 19th. The theme of American Music brought multiple styles and groups to the stage to celebrate and entertain. The quality and variety of songs, styles, and music was beyond professional. Dr. Jeff Johnson, Dr Johnny Dean, and Dr. Brock Terry not only led this team but also brought their talents to the audience. Brock Terry's singing of Amaizing Grace was beyond description as his voice filled the theater and our souls. To top it all off the Lexington Singers Children's Choir also joined in to add a different and beautiful dimension. Well done and thank you!

  • So Much Talent in one Beautiful Venue

by Gail on 5/29/23Lexington Opera House - LexingtonRating: 5 out of 5

The entire program was greatly enjoyed by our entire party! The amazing talent, precision directorship, blending of voices, and seamless transition from one act to another including the adults to the children were all the finest examples of professionalism. Thank you for entertaining us so nicely!

  • Awesome Evening with the Lexington Singers

by Opie 82 on 5/24/23Lexington Opera House - LexingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Our Lexington Singers continue to “WOW” us with their professionalism and energy. Their annual pops concert celebrated songs with a weather theme. They were joined by one of the groups from the Lexington Singers Children’s Choir. What a variety of choral presentations, solos, and dancing to boot. The singers claim to be multi-generational and they proved it on stage. This is also a great value for the cost. Rarely do you get such a performance at so reasonable a cost. Also, the Lexington Opera house is a great venue for the Singers. You are up close for each number and feel like part of the show. The staff at the Opera House is great too. Thank you to Dr. Johnson and the entire group.

  • A Great Night of Entertainment

by CK on 5/23/23Lexington Opera House - LexingtonRating: 5 out of 5

This is my third year attending the Pops concert. Every year it is entertaining and a true variety show. This year was filled with dancing and a great mix of weather related songs. Jefferson has a million dollar smile, he and his group clearly enjoy entertaining. Whit Whitaker you were a crowd favorite as always. You are truly an entertainer but also a servant leader of the community. Bravo Lexington Singers! Bravo!

Very enjoyable. Several of the singers would have been welcome in broadway performances.

I went to see the Lexington singer because the daughter of a friend of mine was doing a solo. The overall performance for the singers was really fun and my friends daughter was fantastic but I am biased.
