About

The Moss on Tour

Utah-based indie rock band The Moss are making energetic music that transcends genres, eras and even fan bases. Love surfy vibes in your music? The Moss is for you. Love reggae? The Moss tosses that in as well. Love classic rock? The Moss delivers. They've managed to take a mashup of genres they're influenced by and create a unique sound that's all their own -- retro and modern, wrapped up in joyful melodies and exuberant live performances.

The Moss self-released their debut album, Bryology, in 2019 in the true spirit of DIY, mixing and producing the album independently. They released the single "Willie's Song," a fan favorite racking up more than 3 million streams on Spotify, in 2020. Their next album, Kentucky Derby, was released in 2021. They also performed an outstanding live set for Audiotree (available to stream on YouTube) in 2021. Their 2022 hit single "Insomnia" made its way onto Spotify's curated playlist, Today's Indie Rock. An EP of the same name was released in January 2023.

Willie Fowler explains their feelings about live performances by saying, "No matter what we do, we want to make sure the songs are fun to play live. We pride ourselves on being a band people want to see live."

In other words, a ticket to see The Moss is a guaranteed good time. Get tickets to see The Moss live when they come to a city near you.

SO AMAZING! you guys always leave me feeling uplifted and happy! I was sad that they didn’t play heartbreaker or the drawer. I kind of wish they had maybe split up the new songs but i’m excited for them to be released

  • The Moss loud and KC

    by Mikey01 on 3/8/24recordBar - Kansas CityRating: 4 out of 5

What a fun show. They got their hit out of the way first and it was full throttle from that point on. The sound was about as good as you get in a small venue like the Record Bar, but I got my money’s worth. Looking for big things in the future for this band.

by avid concert goer on 3/5/24Scoot Inn - AustinRating: 5 out of 5

great experience and performance he sounds exactly the same in person it’s surreal and engaging - the opener (Susannah Joffe) did not match the vibe and made things weird lol that’s my only complaint! :)

  • Such a great show

by One of the best shows I've seen in awhile on 12/3/23The Foundry - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

One of the few bands who sound the same on their songs and live. The lead singer had showmanship and put on an unforgettable performance. I'd see them a million times again on the future. Was an absolutely memorable show and a great time!
