  • Loud and Distorted

by Ted Y. on 4/14/25Sound Waves at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 2 out of 5

Mix was one volume for all instruments and vocals. Loud and distorted, couldn’t understand words unless you knew song well. Not sure if Hardrock Venue is responsible? Very let down.

  • Awesome

by Arleen on 4/10/25The Paramount in concert with Northwell - HuntingtonRating: 5 out of 5

This was the greatest concert I’ve been to in a long time. I love Jakob Dylan , and the whole band. Everything was fabulous. I even got a guitar pick handed to me at the end. Can’t wait to see the wallflowers again.!

  • Lousy sound engineering

by Diane on 4/9/25Sound Waves at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 2 out of 5

Drums were not loud enough. The vocals were clipping/distorted to the point that it was not understandable. The venue was sweltering/hot!

  • Couldn’t Hear Jakob

by OneMan’sOpinion on 4/9/25The Paramount in concert with Northwell - HuntingtonRating: 2 out of 5

Unfortunately the volume was way too loud on all instruments and overwhelmed the star of the Wall Flowers, Jakob Dylan. The Wall Flowers are at their best when Dylan is the clear lead and the rest of the band backs him up.

  • Bad sound mix ruined the show for me.

by Steve H on 4/9/25The Paramount in concert with Northwell - HuntingtonRating: 1 out of 5

I have seen the Wallflowers a number of times in the past and they have always sounded great. Unfortunately the sound at the Paramount show was awful—the worst mix I’ve heard in over 10 years. It was a great setlist but the vocals were weak and tinny. The drums and the bass were too loud and I couldn’t hear two of the three guitars most of the time. It was muddy at the start and never got any better. Sound guy definitely had a bad night.

  • Wonderful Jakob Dylan Wallflowers concert

by Concert fanatic on 4/9/25The Paramount in concert with Northwell - HuntingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Arrived and was escorted to my seat. Beautiful venue, The Paramount. Nice moody lighting. Bars convenient for audience. The Wallflowers were spectacular: Jakob Dylan has a great voice. He engaged well with the audience, waving to us often And positioned himself on different parts of the stage so he could be best viewed by all. I did not know his songs, but enjoyed the performance thoroughly. He performed a good length and did a two song encore!

  • Band was awesome!

by Karen on 4/9/25The Paramount in concert with Northwell - HuntingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Great venue to see a show! Highly recommend, and if you get into the founders room very cool! Check out the bathroom!

  • fire the sound crew!

by penzah on 4/9/25The Paramount in concert with Northwell - HuntingtonRating: 1 out of 5

I couldn't hear one lyric, feed back and fuzz! So many left early and I followed them. My head was buzzing and I stuffed my ears with tissues. No excuse for such lousy sound. I was there before and had a great time but I don't think I would try again. Major bummer

  • Worst venue ever

by TOTALLY UNHAPPY on 4/9/25Sound Waves at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 1 out of 5

The band started 30 minutes late. Never saw them sing due to the fact we left the venue Sound Waves at the Hard Rock in Atlantic city because the air conditioning was not working, and it was so hot we were sweating so badly that we left before the concert started. Apparently the venue knew this and did not announce it or offer anyone water or any compensation. So many people got up and left. The two guests with us stayed for about a half hour but got overheated and left with massive amounts of other people doing the same. They said the instruments were drowning out the singer so whoever the sound guy was did a very poor job. This is by far the worst concert experience we have ever had.
