Tom Bailey is known for being the lead vocalist and songwriter of the British pop band Thompson Twins. The Thompson Twins, formed in 1977 in Sheffield, initially started as a new wave group before transitioning to a more mainstream pop sound. During the early and mid-1980s, they achieved significant popularity with hits like "Doctor! Doctor!" and "Hold Me Now." Despite disbanding in May 1993, the Thompson Twins' music continues to resonate with audiences, and Bailey often tours and performs solo.

  • Bailey very good, Dolby needs to retire

    Thomas Dolby was the lead off musician and frankly he is or should be done. Vocals gone and not good enough any more to perform solo. Tom Bailey has similarly lost some vocal range but more than made up for by terrific renditions of the songs and great accompanying musicians. Overall enjoyed but Dolby was probably the worst act I have seen and around 100 different.

    Although Tom didn't move or sound as good as he used to, he held his own for the age he is and TOTALLY KNOCKED IT OUT THE BOX with A VERY SEXY TALENTED ALL GIRL BAND who's looks and sounds were JAW DROPPING!!! They were all surrounded by ONE HELLA OF A SPECTACULAR LIGHT SHOW highlighting all of his BEST HITS where I found myself and the crowd singing and dancing along like NEVER BEFORE!! It was A BIG THUMBS UP for me and A MUST SEE SHOW if you LOVE Tom Bailey and The Thompson Twins the way I do! GO GO GO!!!

    Tom Bailey still looks and sounds great! Hebput together a great band to back him too. Also, he has so many good Thompson Twins songs that everyone can sing along to. Super fun concert!

    Tom Baileys awesome performance was sooooo good at the Fox Theater in Riverside!! Every seat was a great seat and Thompson Twins are perfect!

    Both guys were wonderful and enthusiastic. Time takes away things from us. I myself have never smoked a cigarette, but my voice has lowered in octaves. The same with these two gentlemen. They just can't get to those high notes any more. But a beautiful evening was had by all.
