  • Glad I went! Even gladder the lockout is ending!

by Mikeisabigblazerfan on 12/1/11Chiles Center - University of Portland - PortlandRating: 4 out of 5

The charity basketball game was a lot of fun. It was overly packed in the bleachers where I was, but it was worth a few hours of claustrophobia to get to see LaMarcus Aldridge, Wesley Matthews, Raymond Felton (3/5 of the likely Blazers starting lineup), and Kevin Durant play competitive basketball live. I thought the event was a little silly but a lot of fun. I am really happy that the NBA and NBPA came to terms a few weeks later and now real basketball will be back again. Overall, I am glad I went but far gladder that the lockout is ending!

this event was a lot of fun because the basketball season will most likely not be happening this year. It was great to see our Blazers and some other players play some great basketball!!

  • what we have

by blazercat on 11/9/11Chiles Center - University of Portland - PortlandRating: 4 out of 5

This was the closest thing to an NBA game I could watch. It was what we have available until this lock out is over. It was a lot of fun to watch the players without all the pressure on them. Just an overall great evening for me and my S O and my sones and daughter in law. A lot of hollering and oooos and awwwws. thanks LA

A very entertaining evening for all the Blazer fans who wish they were watching NBA basketball at this time of the year. There was little defense but lots of entertaining dunks and fun plays. The players looked like they missed playing basketball too.

  • Rip City Classic - A night to remember!

by BlazerFan67 on 11/8/11Chiles Center - University of Portland - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

The event was amazing, the game had the same feeling of an all star game. And the highlights would of blown up sports center for two days. It was also nice to see the players signing autographs before, during, and after the game.

My girlfriend and I both attended and were both glad that we had the opportunity to watch a great time, both the public and the players. I am a season ticket holder to the Blazers and I wish that I could tell face to face to paul allen what I trully think of him and the other owners what most of us loyal fans really feel. I would have printed capitol letters in allens name, but cannot show any respect for him.
