V-U2 An Immersive Concert Film is a one-of-a-kind cinematic experience shown exclusively at Sphere. The concert film, directed by Morleigh Steinberg and The Edge, showcases the history-making and future-defining U2:UV show that played to over 700,000 fans from 100+ countries across 40 sold-out dates from September 2023 through March 2024. V-U2 does not just capture U2’s epic run at Sphere, it allows audiences to feel like they are at the live shows.
V-U2 is the first film ever to be shot entirely with Big Sky, the groundbreaking ultra-high-resolution camera system developed by Sphere Entertainment. To create this larger-than-life concert film, a number of Big Sky cameras captured the band at extraordinary scale, sharpness, and clarity. V-U2 employs Sphere’s immersive technologies including the 160,000 sq. ft. display plane, which at 16k x 16k resolution is the world's highest-resolution LED screen; Sphere Immersive Sound, powered by HOLOPLOT, which provides crystal-clear sound to every seat in Sphere; and haptic seats, which use vibrations so guests can ‘feel’ the experience. All of these technologies will be leveraged in V-U2 in new and different ways to reinforce the feeling of being there.

The Immersive Concert Film begins at the time listed on your ticket and runs 82 minutes. Doors open 45 minutes before the time listed on your ticket for the interactive experience inside the Atrium.

V-U2 is intended for guests six years of age and older. All guests, regardless of age, require a ticket to attend.
V-U2 employs Sphere’s immersive technologies including the 160,000 sq. ft. display plane, which at 16k x 16k resolution is the world's highest-resolution LED screen; Sphere Immersive Sound, powered by HOLOPLOT, which provides crystal-clear sound to every seat in Sphere; and haptic seats, which use vibrations so guests can ‘feel’ the experience. All of these technologies, which were used to great effect in ‘U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere,’ will be leveraged in this Sphere Experience in new and different ways to reinforce the feeling of ‘being there.

Not a film at all! Having seen U2 twice at the Sphere between 2023-2024, this experience is like being back at the concert all over again..The photography was amazing, the sound& vision was spectacular..just like the concerts!! Go & see it!!
Post card from earth was great v-u2 was not at all..you definitely don't get the full experience of what the spere has to offer..
Once taking my seat, the overwhelming size of the center promises an eventful display. Anticipating, but not knowing what to expect, the show begins captivating with the sights, sounds, and feeling of being a part of the actual event. During the show you often forget you are looking at an image. Such an amazing experience!!
Went to opening night screening sept 5. After going to 4 of the Live U2 UV concerts at Sphere, I was just expecting a regular concert movie, but was I wrong. The sharpness and quality of the screen inside along with all the speakers and seats haptic feedback it was just like being at the actual show! They have managed to create this almost hologram illusion and you get immersed and feel like U2 are right there performing once again. Recommended for any U2 fan casual or hardcore. If you did not get to experience the first run of shows this film is just like being there
Proof was in the audience response. Singing, dancing and applause as if performers were on the turntable. Good recap to a forty day run.
The film looked so real! Sound was amazing. Loved it. A must see show! The only thing better, would be a live concert.
Bono lacks voice if you follow the band since the beginning nevertheless was an AMAZING experience, if you are fan of U2 it’s a must! If you don’t ,well go see something else it surprises me how many people were not singing or exited
We went to the sphere to see the U2- UV show. It was a s good as being at a U2 concert. Screen is amazing staff was great. I would recommend everyone to go at some time.
Mind-boggling show. Hard to believe how real the whole performance looks. Great sound and the haptics make it even more exciting. Would definitely recommend this to friends. Prices are steep for a recorded performance, but the overall immersive experience (first-time) was worth it to us. The resolution is insane.
We sat up near the top and we could see EVERYTHING!! It's so real, you feel like you are really in concert with U2! The interactive seats weren't a constant feeling, but, when they activated it made the moment MORE exciting! I love U2, so I may be biased! But I'd love to see the Eagles, there in the Sphere too. I bet it'll be a great show too! Don't miss out! Take a pick in what they offer! Great experience ♥️
I have been to a lot of concerts, and seen a lot of concert films. I have never experienced anything like V-U2. Easily the most immersive concert film ever, the sound and the visuals are unparalleled. I would compared it to 3D without glasses and VR without a headset, but also a shared experience with others. As a fan of the band I wish it were the full show, but if you had to keep the runtime to that length, I think they picked an excellent setlist from the show. It was thrilling.
This will be epic. The Sphere and U2 are the perfect combination of technology, imagery and music.
The Sphere is unlike any other venue on the planet. This is going to be an epic experience!
