  • Not as Expected

by Marie on 2/12/25Rating: 4 out of 5

I was disappointed honestly by the experience. Although they are talented musicians, they were not as professional as I had hoped. Firstly, the biggest problem I had was with their violinist Earl, he made a comment about how he “cheekily” finds it amusing that their songs are covers for explicit lyrics. They requested that the audience be more “rowdy” and wanted them to sing the profane lyrics out loud as they played which you could tell made most of the audience uncomfortable. I think they don’t understand or care that most of their audience listen to their music to avoid profanity, not to lean into it. Secondly, their instruments were out of tune for the first few songs. Third, they only played one song from Bridgerton, and begrudgingly mentioned that the show had increased their popularity- but wanted the main credit for how they felt they “made it” when Sabrina Carpenter for reposted them on TikTok. All in all, never meet your hero’s. They don’t seem to care about how their modern instrumental covers inspired the younger generations of kids to want to learn how to play. They seemed to care more about their egotistical preferences towards profanity and getting validation from the people they liked in the audience.

Great show! It’s amazing the sound that only 4 instruments can make.

  • Great concert but seating was bad

by Music listener on 11/24/24Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 4 out of 5

The concert was great! But we purchased better seats than what we got. I specifically paid for row 4 excellent tickets but they changed the venue and it was general seating. If you did not know that they also changed it to general seating it was a shock and hassle to try and get the good seats. I paid for excellent assigned seats but sat towards the back...

  • Bravo!

by Richard L on 11/20/24Fred Kavli Theatre- B of A Performing Arts Center,Thousand Oaks - Thousand OaksRating: 5 out of 5

If you've never heard about them, you may think it a novel idea but it is truly an amazing show! The musicians are phenomenal and the interaction with the audience just right. It's perfect for all age groups, from small children to grandparents. I highly recommend that you experience them live. Can't wait for them to return.

  • Pleasantly surprised

by bluephishie on 11/19/24Fox Performing Arts Center - RiversideRating: 5 out of 5

I've listened to their covers for years. I wasn't certain what to expect of their live performance. My lady and I were pleasantly surprised. They were funny keeping it lively and it was unexpected to see how pumped they could get the crowd through particularly well known upbeat songs. We would definitely see them again. Lastly, we really liked the venue. Smaller more intimate with no bad seats. We saw PMJ here a month or so ago.

  • Long time coming

by Travis Bloom on 11/4/24Hoyt Sherman Place - Des MoinesRating: 5 out of 5

I bought these tickets back when they first went online, and having been an avid listener since 2015 I was glad to hear them live. I got all 4 members to sign my arm, too, so that's neat. Too many at church a few days later thought that having "Rachel Grace ♥️"on my hand meant I had a Rachel Grace as my girlfriend, so that was hard to explain. Anyways, great music, only way I can stomach a lot of it.
