San Jose Sharks vs LA Kings
SAP Center at San Jose - San Jose
The staff is the best! My daughter climbed the stairs and rode the escalator in the front for about 1 and 1/2 hours. The staff cheered her on and gave her encouraging words as she kept going. She is 1 and 1/2 and just loved those stairs. When we had to change her diaper, they took us to the first aid room and let us use the room to change her. The staff there was super friendly and would ask for updates on her stair count. Even though I paid for a Sharks game, we got much more from those working there. It was a wonderful experience, so we love driving a little less than 200 hundred miles to see the Sharks.

Holiday Treat
SAP Center at San Jose - San Jose
On holiday so decided to watch the ice hockey. Booked parking so very easy to park. Amazing arena - very easy to find your way around and comfy seat (unlike at home). Easy to exit car park.

What is going on with the Sharks?!
SAP Center at San Jose - San Jose
The team cannot win to save its life. The players are minor league at best. They have traded all the good players. What is management thinking? It is painful to watch.

It was a great experience. First time at the SAP Center, Arena and I will probably go every year because it’s easy access and easy parking. Also, the Chicago Blackhawks won in overtime 5–4. Thank you again for having me and all the other Blackhawks fans.

I wish we'd won
SAP Center at San Jose - San Jose
I don't really care for the in-house announcer. I forget her name. Also: It takes some years for me to to get to know the players, and after 20+ years as a season ticket holder who gave up his seats last year, I know almost none of the players. The turnover has been so rapid, it will take a long time for me to get comfortable with the team again. And to invest that time, they have to start winning.

Fans are treated Special
SAP Center at San Jose - San Jose
The arena is a special place to watch a professional hockey game. From the moment you walk in, the attendants are respectful helpful and act like they are glad you are there. The arena is spotless, and food and beverage choices are plentiful. The best part of the experience is the Sharks won!

SAP Center at San Jose - San Jose
I bought 4 tickets 3rd row to surprise my friends. I flew in from Hawaii then I got sick and the other three in my party decided not to go because I looked too sick. Very disappointed wanted badly to see a game with my friends. I guess i need to consider ticket insurance next time since i am out $600.00. Just suck all the way around
San Jose Sharks History
The California Golden Seals played at the Oakland Coliseum from 1967-1976 before relocating to Cleveland. While a failure at the box office and on the ice, the Seals sowed the seeds for the Sharks' arrival some 15 years later. With Wayne Gretzky's trade to Los Angeles in 1988, hockey fever spread across non-traditional markets, and San Jose was among the first cities into which the league ventured.
The Sharks initially played at the Cow Palace in Daly City in 1991 before moving into their current home, the SAP Center, in 1993. The new digs agreed with the team, as they experienced an NHL record 58-point increase over the prior season. Early stars such as Sergei Makarov, Pat Falloon and the Latvian duo of Sandis Ozolins and Arturs Irbe gave the Sharks an early level of respectability.
Gaining a reputation as giant-killers, the upstart Sharks dispatched the heavily favored Detroit Red Wings in the 1994 Western Conference Finals and the Presidents' Trophy-winning St. Louis Blues in 2000. The Sharks continued to flirt with success for the next decade, riding the talents of such star players as Owen Nolan, Marco Sturm, Evgeni Nabokov, Patrick Marleau, and Joe Thornton.
The Sharks went on to win the Presidents' Trophy again in 2009, and have captured a total of six Pacific Division titles and appeared in the Western Conference Finals four times.

San Jose Sharks at SAP Center
The San Jose Sharks have made the SAP Center in San Jose their home since 1993. The "Shark Tank," as it is affectionately known, is one of the most raucous buildings in the league. In 2006, the SAP Center, which also hosts concert events year-round in addition to hockey, sold 633,435 tickets to non-sporting events -- the most out of any venue in the Western United States and fourth-highest in the world.
