This was such a fun event to take my 5 year old son and 8 year old daughter to! They absolutely loved it!
My family went last year to the Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs and it was severely underwhelming. Super small arena, overpriced merch, cheap flags. Unfortunately, we won’t be going to this year’s because last year was such a let-down..
We were disappointed to say the least. trucks didn't run after the first event, the flags were 15$ and not even secured to the stick they just fell down immediately, the motocross was the best part and not even the show we paid for. all around disappointed
My son, who is four, loved it! He was so excited to see his favorite monster trucks up close! He has been talking about the monster truck show since we left! I highly recommend it!
The show was amazing and my daughter loved it so much she has the next show planned already
It was a nice time. The motorcycles were great! Next time I will skip the preshow. Lines were too long to get an autograph from the drivers.
Needed to be way more action and way less talking to keep a young kids attention! The monster truck action was maybe 30 to 45 minutes combined over the 2 hour time period.
We left early from this show. The pacing was slow. After each stunt (e.g., watch 1 truck do a wheelie), they paused for 2-4 minutes to talk. It stretched out the excitement too much for a young child (4 years old). I wouldn't recommend this for younger children, and I'd consider standard monster truck shows outside of Hot Wheels that don't have goofy pacing/scripting for older children.
The kiddos had absolute blast!!! I honestly believe it was well worth the money and experience. Seeing your kids face light up when the monster trucks first came out. The kids have not stopped talking about the show, we loved it! They made it such a fun experience and even got the kids involved in the crowd. Event was held at the Bryce Jordan center in state college, Pa. I’m hoping they will continue to bring the shows here! We will be looking forward to more shows!
We have gone to almost all hot wheels shows here in Corpus Christi Tx and this has to be the most disappointing one. There was no dirt in the pit, so the trucks had no traction to do any of their stunts. Basically they just slipped around on the wet concrete. All it was really was looking at the monster trucks. The motor cycle stunts were the star of the show. They were very interesting and their stunts were very cool to watch. They need to get back to the dirt in the pit with the large dirt pile for stunts in the center and still running over cars just like in the past.
