  • Needed Fans at the Mableton Amphitheatre

Very Hot with no fans at the Mable Amphitheater whereby Patroons pay a Premium for the seating. Recommend that Management add fans for the heat in July and August and September

  • Worst Show Ever!

by Terribly Disappointed on 8/1/23Rating: 1 out of 5

This was the worst concert I have ever been to. The lineup was Club Nuveau, Freddie Jackson, Don DC Curry and the Bar-Kays. I thought the opening act would be either Club Nuveau or the Bar-Kays. Freddie Jackson’s mic was cut off mid-song. He is a legend and it was disrespectful to cut his mic. None of the original members performed lead for the Bar-Kays. I attend at least 2-3 concerts a month. This was by far the worst lineup I have ever seen!

  • Sad but true

by CeCe on 8/1/23Rating: 1 out of 5

Club Noveau, DC Curry and JJ Williams were awesome. Too bad they were on the show with Freddie Jackson and the BarKays. Freddie’s band sounded great but he couldn’t hit a single note. He shoulda stay at the house! We came to hear him sing the songs. I would have respected it better if he had played the recorded songs so we could sing along. And BarKays..more like the BarKays Jr. The band sounded good but the vibe was off. Band sounded good though. Disappointing for the most part. If Cut Creator and JJ Williams wasn’t there, it would have been an absolute disaster.

  • Old School Funk

by DanieD on 9/14/22Landers Center - SouthavenRating: 5 out of 5

Throughly enjoyed myself, the music was fantastic. It was nice to be out amongst adults having a good time. The groups were great and I loved my trips down memory lane and despite everyone's musical abilities........for me, Lakeside STOLE THE SHOW!

  • Waste of time/money

by PunkinAH on 9/14/22Landers Center - SouthavenRating: 1 out of 5

I had previously heard them before but this time just didn't compare. Since they were the last act, as soon as I heard/saw the first 5 minutes of singing/dancing, I left.....truly disappointed.

  • It was one of the best old school concerts I have attended

  • The BOMB!-

    by G. D. on 9/13/22Landers Center - SouthavenRating: 4 out of 5

Truly enjoyed myself… nothing like old school. To hear all those songs from the past was GREAT! Brings back lots of memories… and to see the band members lots older now and still got it! Loved it!
