CHIODOS IN CONCERT:
Post-hardcore rockers Chiodos have had fans headbanging to their pulsing music even since their explosion onto the punk scene in 2004. Whether lead singer Craig Owens is crowd surfing or getting the crowd pumped up during songs like "Baby, You Wouldn't Last A Minute On The Creek," the frontman brings an intensity to their live shows that can't be matched. The band's powerful playing commands the stage, often provoking mosh pits that perfectly mirror the band's fire and intensity. Chiodos hits the road in 2014 with Emarosa on a headlining tour in support of their fourth LP Devil.
ย
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Michigan natives Chiodos met in high school in 2001 and began playing gigs at local all-ages venues around their hometown. Four years later they released their debut album All's Well That Ends Well, landing at No. 3 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart and earning opening spots on tours with Armor for Sleep and Matchbook Romance. Chiodos' sophomore LP generated even more buzz for the band, peaking at No. 1 on the Billboard Alternative chart and landing them gigs with Linkin Park and Nine Inch Nails. Despite several lineup changes, the band continues to make one hit record after the next โ their latest is 2014's Devil โ and they'll treat fans to another round of hit-filled sets during their upcoming tour dates.ย
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"Chiodos kicked ass. They were so tight and had great energy. Thought 3 am and the song they played right after that were best of the night."
"It was one of the best concerts that I've ever been to. They got into it with the crowd, the set list was amazing, and they had me more and more engaged throughout the entire show."
"Chiodos gave an exceptional performance and the energy throughout the crows was great. My feet did not stay on the ground for longer than a second."

Stacked lineup, killer crowd, and a venue that felt like coming home again. Seeing all of these groups I pretty much grew up with was truly a trip back in time. So glad to see the scene is still alive and well.
The show was great, was right in the front! Craig Owens sounds incredible live, his voice live sounds just like it does on albums! This was a long awaited show, my wife and I have listened to Chiodos since the aughts. Was amazing! The band was high energy and definitely went all out for the show! Would recommend ๐
1 first and second band rock the house so wild in the pit and everywhere Hawthorn Heights killed it all the hits I like and finished off chiodos what fantastic wild time thank you for putting a great show!
The lights were great, the stage performance was amazing. Loved it! They had some sound difficulties in the beginning but they got it corrected. Craig Owens is a master of his craft!
I had amazing time with my sister and my significant other! ๐
When i tell you this man sounds the same as he did 20 years ago, that's an understatement. Can't wait till they come back on tour. If you can get a chance, highly recommend seeing them.
Seeing Chiodos again after so many years was amazing! I wish I could go back. Hearing the crowd sing along to their songs and just vibing with each other was so nostalgic. It will always be one of the highlights of my life. The venue staff were nice and everything was well organized. It was a sold out show so the organization surprised me! Iโm happy that there was enough merch, I was able to get everything I wanted, and their sizes were inclusive. The opening bands, Callous Daoboys, Emmure, and Hawthorne Heights also did amazing. I never heard their music before that night but seeing them definitely makes me want to look more into their discography. I hope to see Chiodos again soon! I also wouldnโt mind going to the venue, Hollywood Palladium, again.
