About

Daniel Sloss: HUBRIS'. The all-new and hilarious 11th solo show by Scotland’s international comedy star, hot on the heels of his ground-breaking, global smash-hit ‘Daniel Sloss: X’, comes to the USA. Pollstar’s June 2021 edition listed 'HUBRiS' as the 5th largest event of any genre, indoor or outdoor on the planet even as the global music festivals were opening up.

His previous incredible ‘X’ tour sold out across 40 countries, with 300 shows including over 30 European countries, UK, U.S., Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, Japan and even packing a Moscow arena (becoming Russia’s biggest-ever English language comedy show). The film of ‘X’ is showing on HBO in U.S. and Canada and became the first UK comedy special to make its UK premiere in cinemas, with its nationwide release at Vue.

Daniel’s previous two Netflix specials ‘DARK’ & ‘Jigsaw’ are streaming in 190 countries, 26 languages with the infamous ‘Jigsaw’ now credited with breaking up over 120,000 couples and cited in over 300 divorces world-wide (with fans even bringing their divorce papers for him to autograph at shows). He has sold out six New York solo off-Broadway seasons, appeared on U.S TV’s ‘Conan’ ten times, broken box office records in Edinburgh and toured in 54 countries to date and his book “EVERYONE YOU HATE IS GOING TO DIE And Other Comforting Thoughts on Family, Friends, Sex, Love, and More Things That Ruin Your Life” is published by Penguin Random House.

A great night of comedy. On a Wednesday

by Eli on 5/19/24Majestic Theatre Dallas - Dallas

A fantastic experience and a very funny show. As always, Daniel Sloss does not disappoint with his clever delivery of 'serious comedy'. When we got the tickets, we were a little concerned about how good a comedy show could be on a Wednesday, but that didn't stop anybody from having a fantastic night. The show was fantastic from start to finish and I have already recommended friends to check out shows by this great artist and comedian.

    Absolutely Amazing!!

by Christina R. on 5/18/24Majestic Theatre Dallas - Dallas

Daniel Sloss does not disappoint or offend. Speaking your mind and the hard facts is way more humorous than tip toeing around it all. I had only seen him on Netflix or little clips on the internet but seeing him live was absolutely worth it. What a ride!

Meh. Used to be funnier. Christians, don't bother.

by Heather in Dallas on 5/18/24Majestic Theatre Dallas - Dallas

We saw Daniel Sloss 2 or 3 times in NYC, first in 2016 at Soho Playhouse. He wasn't well known then, and we even brought our 15 YO son with us. Sloss was a cocky young guy, but very funny. I'm happy for him that he's become a father, but he doesn't seem to realize that a big chunk of his audience are parents. That extended bit about childbirth was too long, but it had some great moments. I think what really got my goat was his politics. He's in Texas, a purple state. He claims that he attacks both sides, but he's so clearly an arrogant liberal. He happily attacks Christians but doesn't touch the Left's sacred cows. He actually encouraged people to boo when some people got up and departed. He's obviously comfortable offending right-leaning people. If he was truly clever, he would figure out how to NOT make his personal politics obvious.

    Excellent

by JW on 5/18/24Majestic Theatre Dallas - Dallas

One of the smartest comedians around. He cleverly touches on so many subjects, but does it with finesse. He may talk about some taboo subjects, but is always respectful and smart about how he does it, even going so far as mocking himself for not updating a joke. I love watching his work. Thanks for coming, Sloss!

    Respect

by ICas on 5/18/24Majestic Theatre Dallas - Dallas

I’ve followed Sloss to Berlin, Amsterdam, Calgary and Dallas. The majestic theater being by far the best place. He always has an amazing show to perform. It’s been great and enjoyable. This tour hit more close to home because my husband and I recently became parents to our two daughters. Lots of laughs. Can’t wait to see him again in the future in yet another city! Hopefully lol

    Fun but, not really

by Kristin on 5/17/24713 Music Hall - Houston

We understand different people are in different income levels, but for us, we used some tax return money to actually have a date night for once. We have two daughters and felt we miss going into the city and seeing a show. We went to 713 music hall for my birthday to see Static X last year. We've seen Daniel Sloss on Netflix and thought he was hilarious. We paid $200 for seats the size of fold up toddler chairs squished in next to others with ZERO arm space. I can't imagine being a larger person and coming to this. We were very far back and if one person gets up to pee, the whole row has to get up too. No space at all, man. The opener was not funny and Daniel had his moments....he tried. But it really wasn't that funny. We enjoy the venue but $54 for TWO DRINKS??? And they don't accept cash. So we will continue having drinks and eating ahead of time at the Italian place, Birraporetti's (within walking distance of the venue) in order to save money. Oh well, we tried...

Hilarious show in a fantastic venue!

by Chase Austin on 5/17/24713 Music Hall - Houston

I was very excited to see the show, my wife was on the fence as she did not know Sloss's material as well as I. We both had a BLAST! Daniel Sloss is hilarious. My wife was laughing harder than me! I had not been to 713 Music Hall before and did not know how well it would work as a comedy venue. It was amazing! The staff was helpful and clearly enjoy their jobs. I highly recommend seeing any show here. I will be back for more comedy here for sure. The sound was great and the seating is far more comfortable than many places I have been in the past! I had to look up the GM, Michael Williams, I am not sure if he was one of those who I met, but regardless, he is running a tight and delightful ship!

    Another great performance

by Ashly on 5/17/24713 Music Hall - Houston

While the set wasn’t in the same cadence of his previous shows, it was wonderful!
