  • Venue detracted from experience

by Chris on 4/30/23Golden Nugget - Atlantic CityRating: 3 out of 5

The space was not a concert venue. The chairs were conference chairs zip tied together. Very uncomfortable. Not accessible for disabled persons. Also, Frankie put in an extra song (new one) that was a bit offensive. It referenced the "good old days" but sounded like a reference to when white people ran things and persons of color were viewed as lesser than. It was disappointing. Otherwise, the show was entertaining.

The venue was wonderful. I took my mother as she's been a fan for over 60 years. We had a great time.

  • Fantastic

by Gravy on 4/25/23Golden Nugget - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

I would like to see him come back to Golden Nugget. What a fantastic show. However, better seating. We were sitting on top of each other. Also, there was no air condition on in the room that he was performing in. That was not good for health reason on a lot of levels. Hotel rooms need to be more reasonable. $400.00 a night is crazy! Not everyone can afford that. We had to drive home in a storm. So scary and disappointing.

Show was better than expected. Venue leaves a lot to be desired.

  • Great singing, commentary, a.v (films on side of stage).

Frankie Avalon still is great. I just don't like the theatre in the Golden Nugget with all seats on the floor and no elevation. It was very difficult to see stage and had to rely on screens on sides that were filming the event.

  • What an exciting evening of reminiscing the fun times of my.

by Linda on 4/25/23Golden Nugget - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

My husband and I did not expect such an entertaining experience. His music was delightful and the added humor and family and recording history was very interesting. I felt like we were friends with him and I would like to see his performance again and invite my friends to join us. Age is only a number…he looks fabulous and his energy and vocals were just as they were in the 60’s and 70’s

  • Great show

Frankie Avalon was excellent show!!! Seating was too close together. Everyone was sitting on top of one another other than that great show! Loved it!!!

  • Frankie Avalon was GREAT !! Venue was terrible!

by SadieNJ on 4/25/23Golden Nugget - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

Frankie Avalon put on a great show! His voice is still strong, showmanship as good as ever. His band was good and added to the total performance. I would recommend him to anyone. The venue (Golden Nugget) was terrible. They had chairs lined up next to each other with no room in-between. The rows were tight and difficult to pass thru. It was 1 level - so if there was anyone tall or with a hat or standing/dancing, forget about seeing around them! If you were not the perfect size, then you had someone else touching you all night. Not my idea of a good venue!! They did have 2 big screens setup, however if you sat on the left, the right screen was blocked by a huge speaker and vice versa. Do NOT go to the Golden Nugget if you want a comfortable venue for a show.

  • He's still Got It!

by ContestantCat on 4/25/23Golden Nugget - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

Frankie Avalon and his band put on a great show! Frankie still has the looks and the moves and can still belt out a good tune!

  • Frankie Avalon had an Awesome show

by Linda on 4/25/23Golden Nugget - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

You would never know that Frankie is 82 years old. His voice and movement on stage is fantastic. His oldest son Frank Jr on drums and he sings a duet with Don Everly's (Everly Brothers) son Edan of 3 Everly Brothers hits. I did NOT want the show to end.

  • Nostalgic show 1960 style

by Bob on 4/25/23Golden Nugget - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

Frankie Avalon still has his voice despite his age! He has a very spirited show, highly entertaining and even has his son and one of the Everly Brothers sons in the band! Frankie, besides his top hits, sings songs in tribute to some of the vocal stars of the 1960's who he was friendly with during that time.

  • Just a wonderful show!

Frankie was amazing, kept the audience excited! Will certainly attend again!

  • Frankie Baby!!

by Donna S on 10/30/22Pensacola Saenger Theatre - PensacolaRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent concert in Pensacola, FL!! He is still rocking, rolling and telling lots of stories about Philadelphia where he grew up and Hollywood where he made it big! Eighty two!! Wow! Makes me feel young !! And his son as his drummer along with the son of one of the Everly brothers on guitar - surely the next generation of talent from both their families!!

What a great trip down memory lane! Frankie is such a great entertainer and singer. His vocals are still fantastic. It’s difficult to believe he’s 82! I loved that he honors his friends from the past. So happy that I saw him. Great experience for my memories.

  • A wonderful Sunday afternoon of Music Memories

by Fussell on 10/26/22Pensacola Saenger Theatre - PensacolaRating: 5 out of 5

I received tickets from my sisters for my 70th birthday. My husband and I had great seats, and the theatre was beautiful. Frankie Avalon is still a great singer and performer. His hit songs were sung as if it was 60 years ago. Band was excellent, his tribute of his family was so good. We enjoyed every minute o the concert.

Very entertaining show. Frankie was energetic. It was nice to learn about his family and past through pictures and his story telling. His voice is still great too. The facility was very beautiful and made it easy to see and hear the show. The band was a great back up to Mr. Avalon. More shows like this at this venue would be greatly appreciated.

Loved the mixture of songs and videos. The audience was involved with some of the singing. It was lots of fun.
