  • Amazing LIne Up

by Larry Z on 9/12/23NYCB Theatre at Westbury - WestburyRating: 5 out of 5

This concert was amazing. Each act was at their top of the game. Each act made the audience cheer and sing. I was especially impressed with Chris Montez. I really enjoy going to The Theater at Westbury.

  • Only 2 performers worked the entire crowd

by David Rico on 9/12/23NYCB Theatre at Westbury - WestburyRating: 3 out of 5

Out of all the performers from the Rock & Roll Show @ the NYCB Theater at Westbury, only two, Chris Montez and Dolores ("La-La") Brooks (formerly of The Crystals), sang to different areas of the semi-round arena. Even the featured act, Jay Siegel & the Tokens, only sang to the middle of the semi-round arena, as if the rest of the audience seated on the left and on the right of the round stage didn't even exist❗️ Although ALL of the solo & group singers sang well that night, we were VERY DISAPPOINTED that everyone else other than Chris Montez & Dolores Brooks only sang to the audience seated in the middle of the semi-round arena❗️

I do not want my review made public. The lead for the Chiffons should retire. She lost her voice. It was painful to listen to her try to sing. The other black group of three men was also disappointing. The younger of the three sang but the two older men who were from the original group also lost their voices and one could barely move. However, Jay Siegel and the Tokens were superb as was the young Italian fellow who sang with other performers. I bought his CD and enjoyed listening to him at home.

  • Show was mostly terrible

by Ray on 12/6/21St. George Theatre - Staten IslandRating: 2 out of 5

I can understand the age of some of the performers because I am their age, but I still pay for a good show. Some of the performers were absolutely terrible and should not be performing at all. Nostalgia is not enough. I am afraid that live performances by the artists from the music of my youth are just about over.

  • Harrah’s concert

by George quackenbush on 11/22/21Harrah's Resort Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 4 out of 5

The concert and performers were great. What I didn’t like is no meet and greet or selling of merchandise. ESP since this was supposed to be for charity

  • Such a great show!

by BuffyNYC on 12/10/19St. George Theatre - Staten IslandRating: 5 out of 5

I enjoyed every bit of this show! It's amazing to me how Eddie Holman can still pull those high notes out! It's insane how much Jackie Wilson's son, Bobby, sounds and looks just like his dad! He sure got his dad's genes and talent! Jay Siegel and the Tokens and "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" were wonderful! All the acts were quality! See you next year!

  • Great Doo Wop

by Mary Lee on 12/10/19St. George Theatre - Staten IslandRating: 5 out of 5

The show was great, the performers still have it and were great. They kept you singing along and rocking to the music. Best show I have been to yet.

  • Great. So Enjoyable.

by Madison '63 on 12/10/19St. George Theatre - Staten IslandRating: 5 out of 5

There was no pretense. The performers didn't try to pretend that they were still in there teens. They interacted so well with the audience. Told great stories. The venue- the St.George Theater- was great too.One of the best concerts. The performers voices were still there.
