  • "No Words"can fully describe the excellence of this show!

by BeachLizard on 2/6/25Amaturo Theater at Broward Center - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

I have been a fan of JIM BRICKMAN since the release of his first CD, and have bought every one of his recordings since then. But I had never attended one of his 'live' performances until my hub and I did Feb. 2. And wow... You know those concerts when the artists perform only new, relatively unknown stuff versus your favorites? Not Jim. He performed ALL his greatest hits, along with new ones. His guest vocalists, Anne Cochran and John Trones, were super, but my husband said he wished Jim would have sung more himself, as he has such a good voice! He also has a fabulous wit, and a wonderful way of engaging the audience. The show was four nights ago as I write this, and I keep reliving the beautiful "live"music and experience in my head. If you have a chance to attend a live performance by JIM BRICKMAN, DO IT! You will NOT be disappointed.

This was the third time seeing Jim Brickman in concert and as always he was truly amazing. His connections and narrations with the live audience was great. Jim, please don’t wait too long to return to South Florida 😊

  • Very entertaining evening with Jim Brickman

This was the first time my husband and I had seen Jim Brickman, so we were unsure what to expect. As it turned out, he is charming, funny and an extremely talented pianist. He has written many beautiful songs and brought out long-time friends to sing them for us. All-in-all an enjoyable night.

  • A great evening full of wonderful music!

by Excellent show! on 1/1/25Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

This was the first time we have ever seen Jim Brickman live and I hope it won't be the last. The man is an amazing pianist - playing by ear he told us - and so very talented! We really enjoyed the show and his guests who were also very good. The violinist was super and the soloist was ok - a bit "over the top"at times but Jim Brickman surpassed him with such an ability to make that piano sing! We loved his ease with the audience - talking to us as though we were all friends. We were lucky to have been able to purchase orchestra section seats and I only wish I could have been on the other side to watch his hands on the piano! This performance is well worth seeing - if he's in your city, go!!!

Jim Brickman’s Comfort and Joy Christmas concert was absolutely a memorable and fantastic evening that I will always remember. Sitting in the third row was an added bonus — watching and listening to my favorite pianist/artist. Thank you Jim and team for an unforgettable evening!

  • Brickman Filled Us With Christmas Cheer

    by B&L on 12/30/24Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed Jim Brickman's Comfort & Joy concert. His renditions of classic Christmas songs revived our Christmas spirit despite seeing him after Christmas day. The singer and electric violin player that accompanied Jim both complemented Jim's fantastic piano playing. A fun time was had by all.

  • no comedy

by JC on 12/30/24Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 3 out of 5

Cut the comedy routine & play more songs. He's a far better musician than a comedian & needs to drop the talk & perform more musical hits. That's what we came for.

I absolutely love Jim Brickman and his shows. His talent is awesome & I just cannot believe how wonderful it is to see and hear him perform. Jim is friendly, connecting to the audience, making us feel like we are casually sitting with him and visiting with a friend. His choices in what musical pieces he plays is wonderful, engaging and so powerful when you hear him play. His associates who played with him have immense talent that blends so well with Jim's music, making it a huge success all the way around.
