This band's Tribute to Tom Petty was spot on! The lead singer sounds very much like TP. So does the bass player and I would have enjoyed hearing more from him. The entire band definitely knows Petty music and knows how to deliver. I think the single Wildflowers should be added to the show.
Great People love the Way they share the stage and Play to Each Others Strengths
The band did a great job with particular kudos to the female lead singer. But as is typical with The Blue Note, the sound mixing was disappointing. many of the vocals were unintelligible due to the over amplification of the guitars and drums, etc.
I've been going to see Mercury Trio do tributes for some time now, and they never disappoint. Their Sunshine of your Love show at Rose Music Hall was no exception. I highly recommend that you see these guys if you get the chance,
