About

NONPOINT IN CONCERT:

Florida five-piece Nonpoint has been shaking fans to the core with their blistering brand of nu metal since 1997. The band brings a whirlwind of energy to the stage at their live show, thrashing through hard-hitting yet melodic favorites like "Bullet With a Name" and "Alive and Kicking" with a passion and energy that drive their emotional lyrics home. From scorching guitar riffs and hammering drums to frontman Elias Soriano's soaring vocals, Nonpoint deliver an adrenaline-filled concert experience that both energizes and impresses, leaving fans rocked and ready for more.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Nonpoint formed in Fort Lauderdale in 1997 and quickly made a splash on the budding South Florida metal scene with their intense sound and captivating stage presence. After self-releasing their first album and releasing a sophomore album on the now-defunct Jugular Records, the band made their major label debut on MCA Records in 2000 with the Statement LP. The record put them on the national radar, earning them their first charting single with "What a Day" and drawing them out for touring alongside bigger rock acts like Fuel and Taproot. They followed up in 2002 with Development, an acclaimed album that landed at No. 52 on the Billboard 200 and led to tour dates with Filter, Papa Roach, and Sunset Black. The band continued to climb the charts throughout the late '00s with various releases, and in 2014 they scored their highest position yet when their eighth studio album The Return peaked at No. 3 on Billboard's alternative chart. Since then they've continued to wow fans with electrifying performances across the country, building excitement among ticket buyers for their upcoming tour dates.

  • Nonpoint at Elevation 27

    by Elevation 27 on 1/25/25Elevation 27 - Virginia BeachRating: 5 out of 5

NONPOINT was absolutely amazing. To top it off it was at Elevation 27. Elevation 27 in my opinion is the best venue to see your favorite band in Virginia Beach.

  • No point kicks ass!

Amazing show! High energy and so animated. Will never miss them when they come back around.

  • Amazing band, too crowded venue

by Michelle on 1/21/25Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 3 out of 5

I loved Nonpoint and they didn't disappoint in their show. The reason for 3 stars instead of 5 stars is that the venue was very over crowded. It was a sold out show and I feel that The Culture Club in Fort Lauderdale was too small for a local favorite like Nonpoint.

  • Hometown never disappoints

  • Never Disappoints!

by CoverToCover on 1/21/25Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

Nonpoint never disappoints. This is the 9th time I've seen them. Being they're originally from the area, there are people that have seen them more than I have but I've been a fan for 14 years and have met them. Super humble guys, still hanging out in the parking lot before the show talking to people. On stage they pull no punches. It's always a high energy show with great tunes. And Crobot was a killer band to have opening. I've seen them before, too. Another incredible band. Besides killer tunes, it's fun just to watch the guitarist and the singer's onstage antics.

  • Loud and live is the best way to hear music

    by Mister9am on 12/24/23Wally's - HamptonRating: 5 out of 5

Great music, great venue. The show had a little bit of everything. There was rock, rap, reggae, and metal. Wally's is an awesome local venue to see some truly amazing bands. It's a small bar so you are in the mix from beginning to end. You have a chance to meet the bands and just hang out off to the sides if you're not into pushing to the stage. Nonpoint really didn't need to ignite the crowd because the other bands raised the excitement level to a ten. I thought the roof would blow off when Skye from Sumo Cyco jumped on stage during their performance. It's really great when different groups get together for a song during the concert.
