About

Frontier Touring are thrilled to announce the long-awaited return to Australia and New Zealand by one of the USA’s most critically acclaimed singer/songwriters – nine-time Grammy winner Norah Jones.

The ‘Come Away With Me’ singer will perform three intimate headline dates in Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart in April 2019, as well as five shows in New Zealand. These will be the beguiling pianist and vocalist’s first performances in Australia in six years – and 14 years in New Zealand! Tickets to all dates go on sale on Thursday 29 November via frontiertouring.com/norahjones.

‘She put on a self-assured show that drew from all aspects of her career while finding focus seated at the piano in her sultry, smoky-voiced comfort zone.’ – Philadelphia Inquirer

‘Norah Jones has always mixed jazz, country, folk and rock, but her concert demonstrated that she has become master of them all... Jones ranged with relaxed abandon through a career-spanning set.’ – Seattle Times

‘Jones has become a more relaxed and mature performer... she is masterful at never overplaying, she also has an eclectic bent and knows how to rock out. Norah Jones keeps getting better with age.’ – Los Angeles Daily News

  • Norah never disappoints

by D.R. on 10/20/24The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory - IrvingRating: 5 out of 5

Norah Jones is a class act. It's always a pleasure to see her with a band of talented musicians, singing and playing piano and guitar. It's a special treat to see her at ease in her hometown area of Dallas/Fort Woth, Texas. Her voice and playing are soulful. She sounds like no one else.

  • Awesome show!

Norah is a legend. Despite playing heavily from her latest album, the show was amazing.

  • An Unforgettable Night with Norah: Pure Magic on Stage!

by Maggie on 10/19/24713 Music Hall - HoustonRating: 5 out of 5

Just got back from the Norah Jones concert, and wow—what a night! She was pure magic from start to finish. Her voice? So smooth and effortless, it felt like she was singing just for you. She played all the classics we love and even threw in some newer stuff that totally fit the vibe. The whole room was completely captivated, like we were all sharing a cozy little moment with her. And her band? Absolutely incredible! It was one of those nights you just never want to end.

  • Do Not Go!

by Rusty on 10/18/24713 Music Hall - HoustonRating: 1 out of 5

This concert was bad! Norah Jones hardly interacted with the audience at all. She only played her popular songs for the encore. People even started screaming out her popular songs they wanted to hear. I really am not a negative person and this is the first negative review I have ever written. However, the 713 Music Hall venture was great. There was not a bad seat in the house.

Our first time there and the whole process from entry to exit was outstanding. The staff and security were extremely helpful and kind.

Norah Jones was amazing! Sounded just as great live as on a recording.

  • Great concert intimate venue

Norah Jones performed very well. Sound system was great and venue was intimate and conducive for music.

  • Great show

by Luke on 10/17/24The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory - IrvingRating: 5 out of 5

I did miss some of my personal favorite songs ("Uh Oh", "Lonestar", "Young Blood", ...) but that was more than made up for by their tribute cover of "Les Fleurs"by Minnie Riperton. This came on towards the end of the show and it blew me away. I found myself wishing there was a studio recording so I could listen to it on repeat. Hats off to Emily King -- she has an amazing, bright tone and great energy to match, and it complemented Norah's more reserved voice perfectly. Great artist pick to open the show. Venue was great, good sound (though personally I felt the mics could have been toned down a little). Norah was excellent as always. This was my first time seeing Norah Jones live and it most certainly lived up to my expectations. WIsh she would "come home"more often :)

  • It was just ok

by Attendee on 10/17/24The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory - IrvingRating: 2 out of 5

Norah has an amazing voice as everybody knows. But all her songs kind of sound the same these days (same chords, key). I was hoping to hear some old favorites, but there was more from her latest album. There was no image on the big screens, so we got no clear image of any of the performers faces. Honestly, we enjoyed the headliner Emily King more than the main concert.

  • Norah Jones in Dallas

by susanj on 10/17/24The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory - IrvingRating: 4 out of 5

Norah Jones was at home in Dallas, TX for her concert on Oct 14. She commented about it and that she had many friends in the audience. Her performance was solid, exactly what you would expect from one of the world's best musicians. However, there were no large viewing screens, so the audience could not see her masterful piano and guitar work. That was incredibly disappointing. Furthermore, her outfit looked more like a rehearsal outfit; way underwhelming for the type of performer she is. Overall, the show was very good, but left the audience wanting a little extra.
