About

SLEEPING WITH SIRENS IN CONCERT:

Post-hardcore rockers Sleeping with Sirens are masters of contrast, and their dynamic live shows are the best way to experience their staggering sonic range. The band's hard-hitting yet melodic sound is a juggernaut of blistering guitars and breakneck drums, but the earth-shaking onslaught of propulsive anthems like "If I'm James Dean, Then You're Audrey Hepburn" is tempered by the helium-high tenor of lead singer Kellin Quinn. It's an otherworldly voice unlike any other, and Quinn gives it room to breathe in concert, nailing acrobatic vocal passages while thrashing around the stage like a hurricane with a mic. The whirlwind of energy he unleashes is matched blow for blow by the rest of the band, who take things to the next level with scorching guitar riffs, chugging bass, and galloping drums that leave ticket buyers thoroughly rocked and ready for more.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Sleeping with Sirens formed in Orlando, FL in the late '00s and found a fast following thanks to their aggressive yet accessible sound and the singular leggero tenor voice of frontman Kellin Quinn. The band was picked up by metalcore label Rise Records, and in 2010 they dropped their full-length debut album With Ears to See and Eyes to Hear. The following year they released their sophomore album Let's Cheers to This to a Top 5 spot on the Hard Rock chart, and in 2013 they cracked the Top 3 on the mainstream Billboard 200 with their third album Feel. That record sold nearly 200,000 copies, earning them a strong overseas following and drawing them out for extensive touring including the 2013 Vans Warped Tour. Following a 2014 tour with Pierce the Veil, Sleeping with Sirens left Rise Records and signed with Epitaph. They made their debut on the label in 2015 with Madness, another commercial success that added high-octane tracks like "Kick Me" and "We Like it Loud" to the band's livewire sets on tour.

I have never been so amazed in my life. The music blew me away and I felt like I was on some other planet. I would give ANYTHING to be back in the moment. I had always wanted to see Dangerkids and Sleeping with Sirens live. And I did JUST that. All the members from dangerkids were so sweet. >> And LIONS LIONS & Conditions were great!

by EMTmama on 4/8/12Sokol Underground - OmahaRating: 2 out of 5

I took my daughter to the meet and greet to meet the band after the concert. We were so disappointed the band was rude and didnt really care for their fans. The were stuck up and acted like they were better than everyone. They forgot that their fans are the reason why they are successful!!

  • Kellin Fever!:D

by BellaJaneeee on 4/8/12Sokol Underground - OmahaRating: 5 out of 5

Although Kellin Quinn was not feeling the best the whole band came out and still gave everything that they had to offer. This was probably one of the best shows I've been to in a while at Sokol Underground. There's really not much to say except for the fact that every band that played that night were amazing!

I absolutly LOVED this concert, SWS is my favorite band of all time, this was just 1 out of many amazing shows they've played. KELLIN QUINN <3

  • SWS was breathtakingly beautiful.

by kayeliseYDG on 3/15/12The Orpheum - OldsmarRating: 5 out of 5

That was my first time seeing them live, and honestly.. I can't wait to see them again. They were all fantastic, & the crowd definitely got them going even more. Kellin stayed mostly on my side of the crowd, which made it even more enjoyable for me. When they performed the acoustic songs, it was breathtakingly beautiful. When they performed their song "A Trophy Father's Trophy Son", I started crying, because it really spoke to me. Kellin grabbed my hand twice I think, and held it for a good second or two. I love how they interact with the fans while onstage, because I think it makes it more enjoyable. They get the crowd really excited, & I loved how everyone sang along & danced along with them. After they were done, they came back out & signed stuff, took pictures, etc, and I got my shirt signed by all of them, & a bonus is they didn't rush through it. I can't wait to see them at Warped Tour this year. C:

Idk what everyone's talking about the staff being terrible, I never had a problem. And sleeping with sirens along with abandon all ships, conditions and secrets were amazing. I got to get my CD signed by sws and by all other bands I got signatures. Every member was nice and the show was so cool ! Never been happier !!!

  • Abandon All Ships nailed it!!!

    by usmarine911 on 3/14/12Masquerade - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

I took my daughter to the concert expecting to stand in the back and let my daughter have a good time. I was in it with everyone else; jumping screaming and singing with everyone else. It was... THEY were AMAZING!!! It was my first concert in fifteen years and enjoyed it much more than I expected.

  • Epic show.

by ZachTheHeadcase on 3/14/12Masquerade - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Literally one of the best concerts I've ever been to. All 4 bands were amazing, I had already seen one once before (Secrets). SWS was the headliner, and they didn't disappoint. Me and my friends started a lot of the pits during their set and helped a ton of crowd surfers, felt really cool to have everyone tapping on our shoulders to take them up. All 4 bands were great, please go check out this tour if you can for the remaining dates. If not, go to the Masquerade sometime soon, one of the best venues I've ever been to.

  • The sirens truly cast a spell on me!

by ShamaPirmohammed on 3/13/12Masquerade - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first concert ever, and I was very impressed and pleased! It turned out better than my expectations, and I couldn't imagine it any better! All the band played beautifully, and truly blew me away. Kellin Quinn did an amazing live performance, and I have fallen more in love with him! The venue was perfect for the band, it added on to the effect of the concert! The event was AMAZING, can't wait to see them again!
