What a wonderful experience. Amazing music performed by amazing musicians. Looking forward to more from this Orchestra
Was a wonderful performance....very entertaining. We've already bought tickets for their performance May 11-13 with 5 men doing Broadway.
Wonderful holiday song performances by the Symphony and the three vocalists. Thoroughly enjoyed it. High quality.
One of the best musical experiences we have had in South Florida. The Symphony of the Americas is fantastic! Luke Frazier is a great conductor and is very engaging with the audience. All three special guests were superb.
I don’t like pop concerts, more into ”serious” but as Noël Coward said “never underestimate the power of cheap music”. I really enjoyed myself the orchestra was in top form and Luke Frazier was the perfect MC and conductor. The soloists were top.
So far the concerts performed by the Symphony of the Americas have not disappointed. Well conducted and well played. Happy to have the chance to attend.
This concert was supposed to be a tribute to Henry Mancini. Other than a few songs in the first part before the intermission, this was no tribute to him. The orchestra was awesome, but the repertoire selection was very poor. Especially during the second part of the concert. Also, it is ok to have comments from the Director, but his comments were too long. That time could have been filled with more of Henri Mancini's music. Nothing negative to say about the Orchestra, though, great musicians.
Good orchestra with a very good director for this king of movie music. Bravo!
Driving into the parking lot was no problem with workers saying that you have to pay to get out. They had to be chased down to find out how that was done and explained that the 2 machines to make payment were at the other end of the lot. There were 2 couples using the 2 machines and they were having a lot of difficulty making the payment. One couple said they made the payment but weren't given the parking that they payed for. They were very confused and unhappy. After a long delay the other couple seemed to have success. In the meantime I was reading over their shoulders that you could go on line and use the parking app that I discovered that I had on my phone. It was not simple or easy to use and when it came to asking for how much time I wanted to park for, I was confused because it had a minimum of 6 hours of parking that was required. $15 seeemed high for an afternoon concert that lasted 2hrs. Parking is free at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach. I am discouraged from coming back to Ft. Lauderdale to experience future concerts.
