  • A Great Concert

    by Steve T on 7/24/24Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5

I had seen Cindy Alexander before, and she opened for them with one of her usual excellent performances. I had never seen the Bacon Brothers Band, but as soon as they took the stage they won the audience over with a mix of music and banter. They and their excellent sidemen proceeded to give an excellent concert and encore. I highly recommend them for a relaxed, enjoyable evening.

  • Fun evening with friends

by Brat on 7/23/24Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5

Went with friends to my 3rd Bacon Bros concert to continue the celebration of my birthday (I am 4 days younger than Kevin Bacon) and had the expected blast. Sadly, not all attendees were very considerate given the small space that some of us had to sit in.

  • Amazing as always

Such a great night! My favorite event of the summer always!

  • Bacon Brothers were fine!

by FW on 7/22/24Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 3 out of 5

The entertainment was good and enjoyable; however, the process for getting people to their tables was a mess!. A mob lined up in front of the entrance as numbers are called with people trying to get through - crazy! Why not just let everyone stay seated at their tables, call the seating numbers, and let the people called go to their inside space? Also, it seemed like the acoustics were off a lot. Don't know if that is due to an equipment problem or just a bad sound design.

We had a great time at the Bacon brothers concert. The venue was fantastic. The opening band was also great the Kerry Kearney Band. The seats were comfortable and the audience really enjoyed the show. I would definitely recommend it.

  • Terrific Show!

This is the first time I have seen the Bacon Brothers and I was blown away by their performance. Their musicianship, camaraderie with the audience combined with the intimate venue of “The Space” theater made this a very enjoyable and memorable evening.

There is a “Philly Thing” which grew out of Philly Rock (see Robert Hazard, Rimato, etc.) The Bacon Bros did “Chop Wood” 2004 soundtrack to The Woodsman the current configuration of musical genius is Frank drums, Joe keyboard, Tim (Nash) Quick, Prof. Michael, Paul and Kevin sorry if I forgot anybody.(like the guy from the east end of LI who was amazing). If you love great music the Bacon Brothers will wake you up.;)
