The Wiz (Touring) Tickets

The Wiz is an iconic production and should be seen by everyone. The touring cast is top quality and brings the talent and joy that defines The Wiz. Sheherazade gave a great performance of Debra Cox’s reimagining of Glinda. The ensemble was energetic and memorable, most members filled multiple roles. Jerome, Elijah, and Mykal brought strong voices for Tinman, Scarecrow, and Lion. Kyla shined in the dual roles of Aunt Em and The Wicked Witch of the West. Alan Mingo returned to the tour as the titular Wiz and is enigmatic as always. Dana as Dorothy has a bright future ahead: she brought the complex emotional range for Dorothy which makes you want to follow her journey and root for her. Her version of Home brings down the house. I felt she paid homage to Stephanie Mills’s version from The Wiz’s early years, spectacularly hitting the high notes in “real to me.” If you can see this show, don’t hesitate: see it. “We must look inside our hearts to find a world full of love like yours like mine like Home.”

This was one of the best Broadway musicals I've ever seen. The voices of the cast and dancing was captivating as were the costumes and sets! I would go see it again if it returns!!

From start to finish the show was very entertaining and very well put together. I very much enjoyed it the whole cast was great. Kudos

The show kept me interested. Singing and dancing was excellent.

This production of "The Wiz"was incredible!! I went with my mother-in-law, sister-in-law, & 13 year old niece and it was phenomenal! All of the singers' voices were amazing and the dancing was breathtaking! I wish the run at Shea's Buffalo was longer because I would have loved to have gone to see it again (we went to the final show.) If you can see it, go see it! You will not be disappointed!

I only gave it three stars because one there was no Toto, which is wrong on so many levels. They could have at least giving her a dog stuffed animal or mentioned the name or had a few bucks in the background or something. Also it felt kind of rushed toward the end. Maybe they were running out of time? But when you sing a classic song like home we want you to take your time you want you to feel it. Overall if I had to give it one through 10 I will give it a 9.8. I would definitely see it again!!

The cast was wonderful, their voices was spectacular at the range that there notes could hit. All the cast did an excellent and wonderful parts in the play the Wiz .

Great show. Loved the bright wardrobes. The cast was very animated which was great. The voices of all was definite music to my ears. I have watched the Wizard of oz movie and the wiz. This was right in that categories if not above………

Everyone needs to see this show. The visuals were amazing, the music was great. I’d would’ve seen the show again if it wasn’t sold out!
