Known for starring on seven seasons of NBC's Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning 30 Rock, Morgan appeared opposite Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin as "Tracy Jordan," the unpredictable star of "Liz Lemon's" (Fey) hit variety show, TGS with Tracy Jordan. Morgan received an Emmy Nomination in the Supporting Actor category for his work on the show and was nominated multiple years for the Supporting Actor NAACP Image Award. The cast of the show also won the Screen Actors Guild Award for best Ensemble in a Comedy Series before the beloved series came to an end in January 2013. He was most recently seen on his No Disrespect nationwide stand up tour and will have new shows in 2023.

Morgan's stand up special Staying Alive was released globally on Netflix in May 2017. Prior, he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the 2016 class. Morgan was also nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series in 2016 for hosting an episode of the legendary Saturday Night Live.

Previously, his first stand up special, Black & Blue, was released on HBO in 2010. Another milestone for Morgan was reached in 2009 with the release of his first book, a compilation of studied anecdotes and some of the more serious moments that shaped him and his career, I Am the New Black.

Morgan has headlined across the country and abroad on various tours and festivals for his stand-up comedy. He was first introduced to television audiences in his role as "Hustle Man" on the hit comedy series Martin. He went on to join Saturday Night Live in 1996 where he appeared for seven seasons and created such memorable characters as "Astronaut Jones" and "Brian Fellows." After leaving SNL, Morgan went on to star in his own comedy series, The Tracy Morgan Show, and he voiced "Spoonie Luv" on Comedy Central's Crank Yankers. Skip it

Tracy Morgan was on stage for about 40 minutes. The 2-hour show ended 20 minutes early. The performer read from a piece of paper. Not sure what he was reading. It was a rambling, incoherent performance with many curse words, vulgar stories and language. So disappointed. Cannot recommend.

    Pretty vulgar, not prepared/funny

by bryan9999 on 5/13/24Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red Bank

He sort of just leaned on vulgarity instead of humor. I have a lot of tolerance for all sorts of comedy, but it just read like he didn't know what he was doing anymore. Reading from his notes (I don't have a huge problem with that by itself - comics need to work on new material), getting into fights with the crowd. I feel bad because of the accident - i don't know if that had anything to do with it. But yeah - pretty disappointed overall. I hope he tightens his act up more in the future.

    Bad

by Sue on 5/13/24Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red Bank

All of the openers were great. Tracy’s material was really inappropriate especially towards women. I’d say misogynistic and chauvinistic. If I wasn’t in the middle of a row, I would have left. Im a nurse and just finished a week of nurses week, celebrating nurse and going into Mother's day. It was a bit of a downer to hear all the comments and borderline rape jokes. Really aweful.

    30 MINUTES OF THE HEADLINER?

by CJB on 5/13/24Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red Bank

Always liked Tracy Morgan, but this was one of the shortest shows I've ever seen with Tracy Morgan. He's hilarious but only 30 minutes of material?? I wonder if that's normal, or was he having an off night? Either way...he's still really funny!

Only on stage 37 min. Disappointed. Have seen him before. Was wondering why it wasn't sold out.

He used to be a lot funnier. The material has gotten very rude crude and not enjoyable.

    Disappointed

by Googwoman on 3/28/24Bally's Lake Tahoe - Stateline

I fully understand he’s struggling with memory issues and needed notes to remember.. my 3 stars was for content, too many jokes about what a great package he has! The warm up comics were better! Would not go to see him again!
