  • Terrible Venue

by Sharifa on 5/20/23House of Hope - ChicagoRating: 2 out of 5

Terrible venue. Facility could not handle the crowd. Nobody directed traffic. Spent one hour in traffic line at entrance. Doors did not open on time. Stood in drizzle rain and cold for one hour. Ushers guided people to wrong seats. Concession lines were long. Intermissions between acts were long. Performances were great!

The whole concert was great. Tamela Mann, Pastor Donnie McClurkin, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Smokie Norful, and the first singer were all great. They all sang great. I love when Tamela sings Take me to the King. Also David Mann was a good host.

  • Late Start to Show

by Linda on 5/18/23House of Hope - ChicagoRating: 1 out of 5

Show had 4 1st class rated opening gospel singers.Tamala Manns husband kept came into audience with his comedic act. This is all that we were able to stay for since show began after 7pm instead of 6pm. Had to work Monday and left before seeing my favorite gospel singer which really disappointed me and my guest. Will not purchase tickets to any live shows for Mrs. Mann anymore. Will return to youtube for her past live performances.

  • Great Mother’s Day gift

The place was small or unorganized as far as space. The performance by Tamela was spiritual and the atmosphere was great.
